Words,
whether good or bad, in appreciation or oppression, leave an indelible mark on
others. Blessed are we to have the power to communicate but still many a time
we fail to take advantage of it or communicate in the most unwanted way.
It
is said that words are the sharpest of all weapons, for the wounds they cause
never heal perfectly. Spoken words cannot be retrieved; what returns only is
their after effect which causes the speaker as much suffering as it causes to
the person they are hurled at. So choose your words judiciously, for they have
the power to make or mar a situation and influence people for good or evil.
Don’t speak whatever you mind; just mind whatever you speak.
